This guide will help you understand how to scan, manage your history, and use the various features of the app.
- Scanning a QR Code
- Scan with Camera: Point your camera at a QR code. The app will automatically detect and scan it. Not only QR codes, but 1D barcodes can also be scanned.
- Flashlight: In dark environments, tap the
Icon at the top right to turn on the light and tap the icon again to turn it off. - Scan from Gallery: To read a QR code from a saved photo, tap the Icon on the right side of the screen and select an image from your device.
- Viewing Results & Actions
Once a scan is successful, the details screen will appear with the following options:- Copy to Clipboard: Tap the Copy button to copy the scanned text.
- Favorite: Tap the Icon to mark the item as a favorite. Favorites are pinned to the top of your history list.
- Contextual Actions: Depending on the content, special buttons will appear:
- Open in Browser: For URLs and website links.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Automatically adds network settings for Wi-Fi QR codes.
- Call / Email / Map: Quick access for phone numbers, email addresses, or physical locations.
- Managing History
- History List: Access your past scans from the icon at the top right. They are sorted by date (newest first), with favorites appearing at the top.
- Individual Delete: To remove a single entry, tap the Icon on the history item.
- Clear All: You can delete your entire history from the Settings menu.

Tap the icon and select Settings to customize your experience:
- Theme: Choose between Light, Dark, or System Default modes.
- Auto-Delete History: Set the app to automatically remove old history entries (e.g., after 30 days).
- Scan Feedback: Enable or disable Vibration and Sound when a QR code is successfully scanned.
- Frame Display: Toggle the frame dispaly around the scanned QRcode. Turning it OFF reduces scanning time.

- Tips for Successful Scanning
- Ensure the QR code is well-lit and not blurry.
- Keep your phone steady while the camera focuses.
- Make sure the entire QR code is within the camera frame.
